Digital Zones

Digital ZonesIn our commitment to digital inclusion, we are excited to launch two new Digital Zones as part of a pilot project.

Located within Coatbridge and Chryston Library, these spaces are designed to provide residents, partners, and local organisations with access to cutting-edge technology and resources, fostering digital skills and confidence.

The key features of these zones were developed by public consultation. At both locations you can expect:

• Free Wi-Fi, printing, and scanning services
• Devices for online learning and public services
• Staff support to assist with digital needs
• Flexible access—drop-in or bookable spaces
• Adaptive technology such as large monitors, optical mice, noise-cancelling headphones, and voice recognition software

Residents can drop in or book a space by phoning or emailing the library direct.
